Does it really work? You know? The whole dating online thing.

The internet, being single, dating...

These are a few of my favorite things, but when introduced, do they all get along? Can the excitement and headiness that comes from being carefree and dating translate seamlessly across...um...virtual lines?

I'm hoping this blog will help me document some of my findings as I delve into more research on this topic.

    Dating online does work. It also is work. (You can use that in a post if you'd like).

    I think this is an excellent concept and has a big potential for growth if you wanted to expand it. OKCupid used tons of data they accumulated over the years and analyzed it to provide social insights into relationships and people in general. I would use those as basis for some initial posts.

    I'm sure there is a bunch of other content (surveys, experiences, polls, data) that could help you to develop an actual answer to the question of whether it works. You could also use this in comparison to your own experiences. If you develop an audience, you can survey them for their experiences.

    I'm entirely too paranoid to use online dating services. But I know quite a few people that have been successful with making true love connections using these sites. I guess I watch too much "Criminal Minds."
